COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Bartholomew County Highway Department is advising drivers that several roads in the county are being paved late this week and early next week, resulting in some of them being closed to through traffic for a good portion of the daylight hours.
Motorists are being asked to avoid the areas and plan alternate routes. If you do intend to drive in these areas, you should expect delays.
Weather permitting, the following roadways will be paved and/or closed:
- County Road 1000E, between County Roads 400S and 500S, will be paved Thursday, November 11, or Friday, November 12, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- County Road 50N, between County Roads 850E and 1000E, will be paved Monday, November 15, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Marr Road, from County Roads 550N to 600N, will be closed to all traffic on Monday, November 15, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- Marr Road, between County Roads 550N and 600N, will be paved Tuesday, November 16, from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.
