COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) had a very busy day on Saturday as the sheriff, deputies, staff, and their families assisted in two projects that substantially benefit the community.
They began by helping at Kroger in Columbus with the “Pack-A-Patrol-Car” promotion, collecting non-perishable food items for less-fortunate residents in the area. Saturday was also the day that BCSO delivered over 300 meals for the Anderson Community Center.
Sheriff Matt Myers thanks everyone in Bartholomew County for donating to the “Pack-A-Patrol-Car” food drive, plus his department and BCSO families for their assistance with delivering the dinners.
It was the 6th year that the sheriff’s office was involved in both community projects.
