NORTH VERNON, Ind. – The North Vernon Police Department (NVPD) responded to a report of shots fired, near Noon Drive and Brownstown Road, last week.
Officers were told several shots were fired in the driveway of a residence before two vehicles left. Both cars were found and interviews were conducted with the occupants. Police recovered shell casings from the driveway.
Last Tuesday, NVPD detectives identified Hunter Spicer, 18, of Commiskey, as a principal suspect in the shooting. He allegedly fired between one and three shots.
Spicer was taken into custody and charged with criminal recklessness with a firearm.
