NORTH VERNON, Ind. – After a traffic stop on Saturday evening, a Jennings County man was arrested on drug charges. At around 6 p.m., a Jennings County Sheriff’s Office pulled over a car, driven by Tennessee Henry, 20, of Scipio, on County Road 500S. The deputy said several violations had been committed.
During the investigation, probable cause was established to search the vehicle. The officer allegedly found marijuana packaged for sale, digital scales, THC Vape cartridges, THC wax, and $13,500 in cash, supposedly profit from drug transactions.
The suspect was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Jennings County Jail where he was released after paying a $1,755 bond. It had been doubled because he was already on probation at the time of his arrest for dealing marijuana.
Henry was preliminarily charged with dealing marijuana and possession of marijuana.
