COLUMBUS, Ind. – Once again, Columbus Regional Health (CRH) is seeking your help with the coronavirus pandemic and suggesting that if you have not already been inoculated, that you reconsider doing so. Admissions are on the rise and 85% of the individuals recently hospitalized with COVID-19 have not gotten the shot.
The latest week on record, November 28 to December 4, shows 49 people with coronavirus admitted to the hospital, and 42 of those patients were unvaccinated.
Like all medical facilities in this region, CRH is incredibly busy. Officials say that far too many of their inpatients are hospitalized by COVID-19 infections. To preserve critical medical resources and space for all, they ask all citizens to do their part and become vaccinated.
