COLUMBUS, Ind. – Christmas tree collection and recycling in Columbus continues through this Friday, January 28.
City maintenance crews are picking up residential Christmas trees curbside the same day as regular trash collection. All live trees must be free of ornaments, lights, hooks, nails, tinsel, or stands. Officials remind the community that trees will not be picked up in alleys.
Residents who do not have curbside service can bring their natural trees to the Columbus Recycling Center’s yard waste site, at 720 South Mapleton St.
