COLUMBUS, Ind. – It is “Fill the Freezer February” and Columbus Regional Health (CRH) is looking for breast milk donations for moms and babies in need.
The CRH Birthing Center is the local drop-off site for the Milk Bank, which provides pasteurized human milk to hospitals around the state.
Donor breast milk offers ideal nutrition to Indiana’s most fragile population. The goal at the end of the month is to send a freezer’s worth of donor milk to the Milk Bank.
If you would like to help, contact the CRH lactation office at 812-375-3545 to schedule your drop-off. For more information about “Fill the Freezer February,” go here.
