COLUMBUS, Ind. – Financial aid professionals from across Indiana will be volunteering at 40 sites, including locations in Columbus and Franklin, the last Sunday in February, to help college-bound students and their families open the door to financial aid during College Goal Sunday.
The free program assists Hoosier students in filing their Free Applications for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The application is required for students to be considered for federal or state grants, scholarships, and student loans at most colleges/universities nationwide. The FAFSA form must be filed by April 15 to be eligible for financial aid.
College Goal Sunday is February 27, at 2 p.m., at IUPUC in Columbus and at Ivy Tech in Franklin.
