COLUMBUS, Ind. – As expected because of the rainfall the last two days, Bartholomew County Emergency Management (BCEM) is reporting several roads in the county with high water causing some of them to close.
Sgt. Stephen Wheeles, public information officer with the Indiana State Police, warns to be cautious on area roadways. On Thursday evening he said, “Many area roads are flooded or will be soon. We are seeing water on roads in areas that don’t normally flood.”
