INDIANAPOLIS – Local and state police across Indiana are cracking down on dangerous, aggressive driving as well as DUI checks with a new enforcement campaign that started last Friday and continues through March 21.
Officials say the goal is to promote safe driving around both St. Patrick’s Day and the NCAA tournament.
In 2021, the Hoosier state saw the highest number of traffic deaths in more than a decade.
Last weekend, Indiana State Police arrested a Tennessee man, on I-65 near Seymour, for DUI. He allegedly tested four times the legal limit with a BAC of 0.32%.
