WHITELAND, Ind. – The Clark Pleasant Branch of Johnson County Public Library is hosting the official Grand Opening of its new building at U.S. 31 and Clearwater Boulevard this Saturday, March 5, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The community is invited to tour the facility after the ribbon-cutting at 10:20 a.m. Enjoy refreshments and activities including a photo booth, scavenger hunt, a robotics demonstration, and other family-friendly events.
The new library includes more space to meet the needs of Johnson County’s growing population. In addition to 7,000 new books and media, the branch includes a community room, quiet study and reading rooms, a dedicated space for teens, and an interactive children’s area.
