COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Council for Youth Development (CYD) is seeking Bartholomew County High School students for the 2022-2023 Youth Ambassador Program cohort. It is designed to engage a diverse group of teens to develop their leadership skills and unique talents.
Ninth graders, Sophomores, and Juniors are eligible to apply to the program designed to encourage civic engagement. Bartholomew County High School students need to apply before the April first application deadline.
Lillia Stidam, Youth Ambassador and Columbus East High School student said, “I have met many new friends and I am a more confident leader all while being comfortably pushed by our amazing leaders.” One of those leaders is Youth Empowerment Coordinator Tim Green, who is working with current youth ambassadors to plan a one-day summit.
