COLUMBUS, Ind. – As a part of the city’s preventive maintenance plan, Columbus begins its Pavement Crack Sealing Project this Monday, March 14. By keeping cracks sealed, less water penetrates the asphalt, resulting in fewer potholes and longer-lasting streets.
Crews will begin in Wildflower Estates and Wildflower Commons. Other subdivisions scheduled for this year are Brookfield Place, Cross Creek, Stonehaven, Westlake Hills, Presidential Parks, and several other city streets. Weather permitting, the program will be complete in May.
The Columbus Engineering Department says No Parking signs will be posted 24 hours in advance of the scheduled work. Residents must move vehicles by 7 a.m. on the day of work to avoid towing.
