COLUMBUS, Ind. – Columbus Regional Health (CRH) announced Thursday that work resumes this week on its State Road 46W site, the former Clarion Hotel property.
Excavating crews are commencing the breakdown and redistribution of the large pile of construction materials from the I-65 roadwork project. This phase of work will take about six weeks to further refine the material pile in preparation for necessary lot improvements.
CRH is moving forward with its facility and site plans independent of a developer in order to meet its timelines and goals. A medical office building is planned for part of the property. Detailed facility plans are forthcoming, with the hope to have services in place by the end of 2023.
Delays due to emerging priorities and the pandemic had halted construction at the CRH site.
