COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Bartholomew County Substance Abuse Council (BCSAC), Columbus Police Department, and Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office invite residents to a special discussion about drugs on Wednesday, March 23, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., at The Commons.
The instructor is “Tall Cop” Jermaine Galloway, an 18-year law enforcement veteran who travels the country educating communities on drug and alcohol recognition, prevention, and enforcement. Standing at 6’9”, Galloway can look intimidating. But in fact, he’s a devoted, passionate man who cares about America’s youth.
The event, “You Can’t Stop What You Don’t Know: Current Alcohol and Drug Trends and Identifiers,” is free. In addition to the ability to identify those who might be abusing drugs and/or alcohol, this training will educate you on the trends associated with the most popular drugs and concealment methods.
