NORTH VERNON, Ind. – At its quarterly meeting held recently in Columbus, the Administrative Resources association (ARa) elected North Vernon Mayor Michael Ochs as the President of its Board of Directors.
The association, owned by southern Indiana cities, provides assistance in the planning and financing of community and economic development projects.
Executive Director of ASa Eric Frey said, “His election is a reflection of the respect and confidence his fellow mayors have for him.”
ARa was founded in 1973 with the assistance of a Lilly Endowment. It helps small cities in Indiana better compete for community and economic development resources and comply with complex federal regulations.
