JACKSON COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) will close State Road 135, south of Freetown, twice this week to replace culverts.
The Jackson County highway will close from approximately 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, March 16, and Thursday, March 17, weather permitting.
On Wednesday, S.R. 135 will shut down between County Roads 300N and 400N, and on Thursday between County Roads 475W and 540N. Both closures are located between U.S. 50 and State Road 58.
Local access will be maintained for residents within each closure. INDOT says drivers should use an alternate route.
