COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Columbus Redevelopment Commission on Monday afternoon approved two resolutions related to progress on NexusPark, the former Fair Oaks Mall site. Its development is overseen by a corporation jointly formed by the city, the parks department, and Columbus Regional Health.
The commission approved a $450,000 grant to the midtown TIF district, which was established to provide financing for many aspects of NexusPark development, from the central TIF allocation area.
The commission also approved a resolution to engage the services of MKSK, a design and development firm, for the completion of exterior master planning, design, and construction documents. Payment is not to exceed $426,500. The MKSK work is expected to be completed by fall.
