COLUMBUS, Ind. – The United State Department of Agriculture (USDA) Food and Nutrition Service recently announced the Turnip the Beet awards for summer 2021, which recognize sponsors that go above and beyond requirements to serve high-quality meals to children.
Nationwide, a total of 84 sponsors were recognized. Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation (BCSC) was one of three Indiana school systems to be honored with the USDA award for its Summer Meals Program.
School corporation officials congratulate BCSC Food Services Director Nancy Millspaugh and all of its workers for their effort in offering high-quality, appetizing, and nutritious meals to kids during the summer months.
