COLUMBUS, Ind. – A local man with seven local warrants was busted Saturday when he was spotted by a Columbus Police Department (CPD) officer who was on patrol. Law enforcement saw Rickie L. Ozbun, 54, of Columbus, driving on Indiana Avenue near Hughes Street, at 4:15 p.m.
CPD confirmed the man had multiple outstanding warrants and took him into custody a short time later. He was transported to the Bartholomew County Jail.
Ozbun was booked for the seven local warrants for failure to appear on numerous charges, including operating a vehicle while intoxicated, stalking, invasion of privacy, and domestic battery. He is being held on a $50,000 bond.
