COLUMBUS, Ind. – Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) contractors plan to begin work on Monday, April 4, to patch, mill, and repave a section of State Road 46 in Bartholomew County. Work is planned between State Road 7 and just east of State Road 9, and the resurfacing will take place under single-lane closures with flagging.
The project also includes a pipe replacement between U.S. 31 and County Road 450E. State Road 46 is expected to close for up to seven days in early May while crews replace the pipe.
INDOT says access will be maintained for local residents. Work should be complete by the end of October
