AUSTIN, Ind. – Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating after the body of Harold L. Wilson, 89, of Seymour, was discovered by fishermen outside of Little York in Washington County on Wednesday.
The fishermen saw Wilson’s body along a small tributary adjoining the Muscatatuck River, and his car was found a short distance away, near State Road 39.
Indiana State Police divers recovered the body shortly before 6 p.m. Wilson was the subject of a Silver Alert issued by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office on April 19.
An autopsy is scheduled for late Thursday to determine the cause of death. No foul play is suspected at this time.
