SEYMOUR, Ind. – A wanted Seymour man was arrested after a high-speed chase on I65 Tuesday night. The chase began when officers from the Seymour Police Department tried to stop 19-year-old Jeremiah Pendygraft who refused to stop.
After reaching speeds of over 100 mph, Pendygraft left the interstate at the Walesboro exit, where he then crashed into another vehicle. He was taken to Schneck Medical Center for a blood draw and subsequently booked on charges of operating a vehicle with a controlled substance resulting in serious bodily injury, resisting law enforcement, possession of a controlled substance, dealing in a controlled substance, and the outstanding Jackson Circuit Court Warrant.
The outstanding Jackson Circuit Court Warrant was for sexual misconduct with a minor. This stems from an investigation that began on March 30, 2022.
