COLUMBUS, Ind. – United Way of Bartholomew County reminds residents that registration for the annual Day of Caring ends this Friday, May 13. It is a full-day volunteer event that connects local businesses and community members with non-profit and residential volunteer projects in Bartholomew County.
“Day of Caring connects our community volunteers with service projects that truly help Bartholomew County,” said Alicia Monroe, Volunteer Action Center Director at United Way of Bartholomew County. “We are grateful for the hundreds of volunteers who give their time and effort to make our community better.”
Volunteers fan out across the community to complete service projects for community members, nonprofit agencies, and other organizations.
Register to volunteer by going to uwbarthco.org. The United Way Day of Caring is set for May 20.
