FRANKLIN, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) says that maintenance crews plan to close State Road 44 on Wednesday and Thursday, May 11 and 12, to replace pipes west of Franklin.
The road will shut down to through traffic each day from approximately 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., between State Road 135 and County Road 100S, near First Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. Access will be maintained for local residents, school buses, and emergency personnel.
INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, avoid distractions, and consider worker safety when traveling through active work zones. All work is weather-dependent.
