COLUMBUS, Ind. – Prevention Palooza is on tap to take place this Saturday. The Foundation For Youth (FFY) event is a part of National Prevention Week and serves as a means of bringing together communities and organizations to raise awareness about the importance of substance use prevention and positive mental health.
“It’s just going to be really exciting, there’s going to be a lot of stuff to take home, there’s going to be a lot of information given out, and it’s just going to be a lot of fun for the entire family,” said Jennifer Barbercheck of FFY.
Residents are invited to Mill Race Park from 5:30 to 8 p.m. for family engagement activities and then from 8:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. for a screening of the live-action version of Pete’s Dragon in the park.
