SEYMOUR, Ind. – The Jackson County Public Library’s Oceans of Possibilities summer learning program begins Tuesday, May 31, and runs through Monday, August 1, at the Seymour, Crothersville, and Medora branches of the library. The program is also offered on the Discovery Bus.
Participants accumulate points for reading and can earn prizes at 300, 600, and 900 points. Every minute spent reading is worth one point. Up to five grand prize entry slips can be earned for additional reading.
Grand prizes at each location this year are a one-year family membership to the Indianapolis Zoo or a poolside/beach bundle, which includes a $25 Walmart gift certificate.
The summer learning program is free and open to all ages and designed to encourage life-long reading habits. You may sign up for the program at the library or online here.
