SEYMOUR, Ind. – The Seymour Main Street Design committee is soliciting proposals for a comprehensive downtown streetscape master plan for the downtown area.
“The results of this plan will help decision-makers, stakeholders, investors, property owners, property tenants, and community members shape and elevate the function, form, aesthetics, and branding of the downtown district,” according to a Seymour Main Street Design committee press release.
Proposals are due to Seymour Main Street by noon on June 1. According to the current timeline, the consultant is expected to be chosen by June 29. Once selected, the firm will meet with the Seymour Main Street and Streetscape Executive Committee to better define the results being sought and the methodology the firm will use.
The firm will provide a final draft report and presentation to Seymour Main Street and Streetscape Executive Committee by September 19, and provide a final report and presentation to the Seymour Common Council at a public meeting on September 26.
