COLUMBUS, Ind. – UPDATE: Asa Watts, the 14-year-old girl who was reported missing on Saturday morning, was found late Saturday night and the Silver Alert was canceled. Family members on a Facebook post expressed gratitude to everyone involved in the search. They said they were at the hospital and Asa was being checked out. They asked that you respect their privacy at this time.
Original: Authorities in Columbus and Bartholomew County are searching for a missing teen, Asa Watts, 14. She is a white female, 5 foot 2 inches tall, weighing 93 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes, and was last seen on Friday, May 27, at 8 p.m., at Columbus Skateland on Talley Road.
Asa was wearing a black zip-up hooded sweatshirt, gray shirt, black sweat pants, and neon yellow shoes. She was carrying a red Under Armour backpack.
The Indiana State Police issued a statewide Silver Alert for her just after 1 p.m. on Saturday.
