SEYMOUR, Ind. – Jackson County Public Library (JCPL) book discussion groups in Seymour and Crothersville are planning in-person gatherings over the next few months.
A new summer-only book club, Beach Reads and Cocktails, will meet on the first Thursday of each summer month. During the first session on Thursday, June 2, at 7 p.m., the group will discuss “The Guncle” by Steven Rowley at Vat and Barrel. Attendees should bring money for a drink or snack. Registration is requested online.
The Tuesday Night Book Club will discuss its monthly book at 7 p.m., on Tuesday, June 14, at San Marcos in Seymour. The club will review “The Sweetness of Water” by Nathan Harris.
The book discussion group at the Crothersville Library, which meets on the third Wednesday of each month, will get together in the library meeting room and share their thoughts on “A Slow Fire Burning” by Paula Hawkins, at 6 p.m. on June 15.
