JACKSON COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) will reduce State Road 11 traffic to one lane with a temporary traffic signal on Monday, June 13, to complete a superstructure replacement project over East Fork White River Overflow in Jackson County.
The bridge is located about two miles north of State Road 258, just north of Rockford, and will remain under construction for up to 120 days.
Crews plan to soon close S.R. 258 over East Fork White River Overflow in Jackson County, to complete another superstructure replacement project. The bridge is located just east of the river and will remain fully closed for up to 120 days. An official start date will be announced.
The $3.9 million contract was awarded in March 2022 and has an overall completion date of October 31. INDOT says roadside work will continue into 2023, but with minimal impacts on traffic.
