SOUTH-CENTRAL, Ind. – Portions of south-central Indiana will remain under a heat advisory until Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
Bartholomew, Johnson, Jennings, and Shelby counties will be under a heat advisory on Monday from noon to 9 p.m.
NWS says the heat advisory is back in effect for the same counties from 11 a.m. Tuesday to 9 p.m. on Wednesday.
Heat index values up to 105 and 108 degrees are expected for the first and second Heat Advisories, respectively.
