SEYMOUR, Ind. – Hoosier Action is holding a cookout in Jackson County this weekend and the topic of discussion is mental health and substance abuse.
The “Jackson County Cookout Conversation: Substance Use, Overdose, and Mental Health in the Community,” takes place this Saturday, June 18, from noon to 2 p.m. at the JCBank Pavilion at Crossroads Community Park, 101 E. Tipton St., in Seymour.
Residents are invited to enjoy a meal, share experiences and thoughts on substance abuse, and learn how they can act together for a better future without substance abuse.
Founded in 2017, Hoosier Action has been focused on healthcare protection expansion, opioid use and overdose prevention, toxic contamination, and worker protections.
