COLUMBUS, Ind. – Ivy Tech Community College has appointed Chris Hoke, superintendent of Northwestern Consolidated School District of Shelby County, to the Campus Board of Trustees for the college’s Columbus service area.
Hoke joins an eight-member board that guides the college, approves the budget, and serves as a student and community advocate. He will represent Shelby County, which is included in the Ivy Tech Columbus service area.
He has served as superintendent of Northwestern Consolidated Schools of Shelby County for seven years and has more than 20 years of experience in education.
Ivy Tech Columbus serves Bartholomew, Decatur, Jackson, Jennings, Johnson, and Shelby counties.
