NORTH VERNON, Ind. – In the early morning hours of Friday, June 17, deputies with the Jennings County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) located a stolen vehicle which eventually led deputies to a Country Squire Lakes residence to investigate information received about the car. Upon arrival at the residence, the vehicle that had been reported stolen from Seymour was located in a garage.
The investigation led to a search warrant being granted for the residence and garage. During the execution of the search warrant, deputies allegedly found Fentanyl, methamphetamine, syringes, and drug-related items.
Seven individuals were taken into custody without incident, transported to the Jennings County Jail, and booked on various charges.
- Kiara Russel, 18, of North Vernon: dealing fentanyl, dealing meth, possession of a hypodermic needle, possession of meth, maintaining a common nuisance, and possession of paraphernalia.
- Trevor Dilk, 52, of North Vernon: theft (receiving stolen property), possession of a hypodermic needle, possession of meth, maintaining a common nuisance, and possession of paraphernalia.
- Dillon Smith, 28, of North Vernon: possession of meth, visiting a common nuisance, and an outstanding Bartholomew County warrant.
- Damion Patton, 24, Trinity Patton, 21, Alesha Farmer, 25, and Timothy Southwood, 52, all of North Vernon: visiting a common nuisance.
