SHELBYVILLE, Ind. – UPDATE: The Shelbyville Police Department released information Tuesday night that Brayden Mahon, a teenager missing from Shelbyville since February 10, was located in Oklahoma and is safe. Law enforcement thanks everyone who provided tips. At this time police are not providing any additional information. It is still an ongoing investigation.
Original: The Shelbyville Police Department (SPD) is currently conducting an investigation into a missing 17-year-old male, Brayden Mahon.
The teen was reported missing on February 10 and was last seen in Shelbyville, according to an SPD statement. Brayden was living with his father, Chris Mahon, and grandmother, Shirley Michaels, in Shelbyville, at the time he went missing.
He has not been active on any known social media sites and has not been seen or had any contact with family or friends since February 17.
Anyone with any information on the whereabouts of Brayden Mahon is asked to call detective Mark Newman at 317-392-2511. He is 17 years old, is 5 feet 11 inches tall, and weighs 145 pounds.
