SEYMOUR, Ind. – The Jackson County Clothing Center has been overwhelmed with clients in need of kid’s clothes, and is making a plea for children’s clothing for summer and back to school.
Clothes needed include underwear, pajamas, shorts, t-shirts, dresses, swimsuits, shoes, jeans, jackets, sweaters, and coats. The clothing center needs all sizes, from infants to high school students. Donations should be clean and ready for distribution.
Donations can be dropped off at the center Mondays and Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., or Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 to 4 p.m. A drop box is available on the center’s front porch at 622 W. Second Street.
Monetary gifts can be made at the center or by mailing a check to the Jackson County Clothing Center, 622 West Second St., in Seymour, 47274.
