COLUMBUS, Ind. — Cummins Inc. announced that Gary Belske was elected to its Board of Directors last week.
Tom Linebarger, Cummins Chairman/CEO until Jennifer Rumsey takes over on August 1 said, “Gary will enhance the strength of our board with his leadership experience, knowledge of a broad range of industries, and expertise.”
Belske had a 38-year career at Ernst and Young before retiring in December 2016. In his most recent role as Managing Partner/COO, he was responsible for the overall strategy and operations for the Americas, where he oversaw business in 16 countries with approximately $15 billion in revenue, 50,000 employees, and 4,000 partners.
He has previous board experience, having served on Ernst and Young’s Americas and U.S. Boards for a decade. Belske also currently serves on the national board of College for Every Student and on the Board of Trustees at Rockhurst University.
