COLUMBUS, Ind. — The Columbus Police Department (CPD) arrested a Muncie man on several drug charges Monday afternoon.
Gregory A. Easterly, 41, was taken into custody and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a legend drug, and possession of marijuana.
Officers stopped a vehicle for a minor violation near Ninth and Franklin Streets at around 4:20 p.m. They spoke with the car’s occupants who CPD says seemed visibly nervous.
Police searched a bag near where Easterly was seated. Inside, the officers allegedly located meth, marijuana, and Xanax. Easterly was placed under arrest and transported to Bartholomew County Jail.
