SEYMOUR, Ind. — The Seymour Police Department (SPD) took a teenager into custody after an investigation into four burglaries that took place at medical facilities in Seymour over the past couple of months.
Jackson Otho Allman, 19, of Seymour, was arrested and charged with four counts of burglary, three counts of theft, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, and possession of paraphernalia.
Between June 29 and July 14, SPD investigated a total of four burglaries at two medical facilities. One at the office of Dr. John Walter, DDS, 1131 Medical Place, and three at Dr. Linda Fisher and Associates Eye Care, at 1125 Medical Place. The value of items taken and damage to both locations is estimated to be around $10,000.
On July 14, investigators developed a suspect and obtained a search warrant for 317 Haag Lane in Seymour. During the execution of the warrant, officers allegedly located the suspect, meth, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.
Allman was transported to the Jackson County Jail and remanded into the custody of the sheriff.
