TAYLORSVILLE, Ind. – A Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) deputy initiated a traffic stop near the intersection of West County Road 650N and Main Street, in Taylorsville, on Thursday, just after 1:30 a.m.
When sheriff’s office K9 Jari alerted to narcotics inside the car, BCSO allegedly found suspected methamphetamine, marijuana, and other drug-related items.
The driver, Ashley Allman, 30, of Elizabethtown, was jailed on preliminary charges of possession of meth, possession of marijuana, and possession of paraphernalia. She has since been released.
Passenger, Craig Hill, 35, of Columbus, was busted and taken to Bartholomew County Jail on the preliminary charges of possession of paraphernalia, false informing, and an outstanding warrant. He remains incarcerated in lieu of a $7,000 bond.
