MORGANTOWN, Ind. – The Johnson County Communications Center received a call of a person shot in the 6700 block of South County Road 800W, in Morgantown (Johnson County), on Sunday at around 9 p.m. Deputies, along with the Trafalgar Fire Department and the Morgantown Emergency Services responded.
The victim that was shot was transported to IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. The last update on his condition was that he was in surgery. No other medical status will be known until later Monday.
Johnson County Sheriff’s Office detectives are currently conducting interviews. The suspect(s) fled the area, and law enforcement is attempting to obtain information on those involved in the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
