FRANKLIN, Ind. – The Johnson County Prosecutor’s Office on Wednesday filed a single count of murder against Tyrique S. Radford El, 18, of Whiteland, in connection with the shooting of a 16-year-old male at a Greenwood school bus stop last week.
Joseph M. Villanueva, Johnson County Prosecutor, said, “This level of violence is uncommon in our community. When it happens all of our law enforcement partners step up to act as one to solve cases like these, regardless of where it took place. We look forward to presenting our court case to hold Radford El accountable for his actions.”
Radford El is still incarcerated without bond at the Johnson County Jail in Franklin. He will remain there until the case is resolved. If convicted, he faces 45-65 years in prison. His first appearance in Johnson Superior Court 3 has not yet been announced.
