COLUMBUS, Ind. — Cummins has announced that 300,000 engines have been delivered to Hyundai Construction Equipment (HCE) since 1990, a milestone in the long-running partnership between the two companies.
Representatives from both organizations met in Columbus to mark the occasion. Six years into their partnership, Cummins had provided 10,000 engines. By 2016, that number had grown to 200,000.
“Cummins is happy to provide Hyundai Construction Equipment with the 300,000th engine, and to have been working with them for over 30 years,” said Eric Neal, Cummins Off-Highway Executive Director. “We look forward to continuing the relationship and hope to celebrate more milestones in the future.”
HCE was formed in 1985 and manufactures a range of industrial machines including excavators, wheel loaders, and forklift trucks.
