GREENSBURG, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation says that Central Railroad of Indiana plans to implement directional closures of State Road 3, at the previous railroad crossing south of State Road 46, near Greensburg, starting on or after Monday, November 7.
Southbound S.R. 3 will be shut down first, followed by the northbound lanes. During the closings, crews will reinstall the crossing for Lowe’s Pellets and Grain.
The project is expected to take up to four weeks to complete, according to INDOT. Traffic will be routed along the official detour, following S.R. 46 to S.R. 9 to I-74, U.S. 421 (Exit 132), and back to S.R. 3.
