GREENWOOD, Ind. – The White River branch of the Johnson County Library (JCPL) remains open with reduced services after several water breaks at the building.
Most of the water damage is in the adult/non-fiction, media, and teen collections portions of the facility, so those areas remain closed to the public.
There was minimal damage to library books, however, some new books and reserves/holds were soaked, but the staff is placing reorders to have those materials available as soon as possible.
The children’s department is open to patrons and the curbside JCPL-to-Go service also continues.
The JCPL team can help retrieve any materials in the closed portion of the library. Call 317-885-1330.
