INDIANAPOLIS — Area of Bartholomew County could get up to 5 inches of snow, according to the latest update by Bartholomew County Emergency Management (BCEM).
A Winter Storm Watch has been issued for areas north of of Bartholomew County, however no Watches or Warnings have been issued yet locally.
According to the latest update:
- Bartholomew County is predicted to get 2-5 inches of snow. However, areas around Bartholomew (east, west, north) are predicted to receive in the 3-6 inch up to the 4-7 inch range. Areas south are predicted to receive 1-4 inches of snow.
- Currently, there is only a 13% probability of the Bartholomew County area receiving 6+ inches of snow.
- Timing for the storm: precipitation onset around midnight Tuesday (1/24) and ending mid-late afternoon on Wednesday (1/25).
- Temperatures are not expected to be sub-zero.
