COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Columbus Redevelopment Commission (CRC) has announced that with the completion of the 1821 Bicentennial Trail, it will be hosting a Ribbon Cutting/Grand Opening Ceremony on Thursday, April 6, at 9 a.m.
The trail extension along First Street, from Haw Creek Trail to Water Street, includes architectural and art elements circling the 2021 Bicentennial theme, “Common Ground.”
Attendees should plan to arrive a few minutes early for refreshments before the ceremony remarks.
If it were to rain that day, CRC says the backup date for the celebration would be Friday, April 14.
