SEYMOUR, Ind. — Jackson County Public Library book discussion groups in Seymour, Crothersville, and Medora plan to gather in person to discuss book themes, writing styles, characters, and more in June. Books are available to check out at the library or may be available digitally through Libby or Hoopla.
The Tuesday Night Book Club will discuss their monthly book at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 13, at Applebee’s in Seymour. Information Services department staff will lead the review of “I’ll Be Gone in the Dark: One Woman’s Obsessive Search for the Golden State Killer” by Michelle McNamara. Fantastic Fiction will meet in the Seymour Library Meeting Room and discuss “The Forest of Vanishing Stars” by Kristin Harmel at 11 am on Friday, June 16.
The book discussion group at the Crothersville Library will meet in the library meeting room and share their thoughts on “The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo” by Taylor Jenkins Reid, at 6 p.m. on June 21. Circulation Assistant Teresa Black will lead the discussion.
The Medora Library discussion group will meet at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, June 27, to talk about “Water From My Heart” by Charles Martin.
