To view the report and learn more about your drinking water, go here. The URL link will be included on June bills, and customers receiving a monthly electronic bill will receive an email with the link to access the report. It will be distributed to apartment complexes, multiple user accounts, and other public places.
The 1996 Safe Drinking Water Act requires that every public water system serving more than 15 service connections prepare a water quality report which provides information on where water comes from and how it compares to current standards.
In 2022, CCU met or exceeded all drinking water quality standards set forth by the EPA and IDEM. If you would like a paper copy of the 2023 Annual Water Quality Report mailed to your home, call the office at 812-372-8861.
